Authentically Seen

Authentically Seen is a portrait series centered on people with disabilities as individuals—not defined by a diagnosis, limitation, or stereotype. Through these photographs, I explore identity, confidence, work, creativity, relationships, and everyday life. As a photographer living with a disability myself, I approach each portrait through shared experience and a desire for honest representation. My goal is simple: to photograph people as they are and as they want to be seen—with dignity, individuality, strength, vulnerability, and authenticity. These portraits invite viewers to look beyond assumptions about disability and see the person first.
